Denial Inquiries

What to do if your application is denied:
To qualify for one of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler Programs, all applicants undergo biometric fingerprint checks, an interview with a CBP officer, and a thorough background check of criminal, law enforcement, customs, immigration, agriculture, and terrorist records.

If you are denied membership in the Global Entry program, you will be notified electronically via your GOES account.

If you feel the decision was based on inaccurate information, you may contact a Global Entry Enrollment Center to discuss your denial.

Or you may also write to the CBP Trusted Traveler Ombudsman at:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection
P.O. Box 946
Williston, VT 05495
Attention: CBP Ombudsman
